UMG Conference 2023

Join us to discuss the future of university museums.

In recognition of ICOM’s International Museum Day 2023 “Museums, Sustainability and Wellbeing”, UMG will be discussing the role of sustainability and wellbeing with regards to culture, community, and museum practice.

Our first in-person conference since 2019, the UMG Spring Conference provides a unique opportunity for our sector to band together to evaluate and explore our strengths in the newly reopened Manchester Museum. Our speakers and networking opportunities will inspire our members to improve practice and to engage critically with ensuring the sustainable future of our university museums.
